My wife and I recently celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary with a 3-night stay at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel and it was an unforgettable experience. Although not so modern, our room was luxurious and well maintained, providing all the comforts and amenities we needed. We especially looked forward to breakfast each morning, eager to enjoy the chef’s special of the day, which never disappointed and added a delightful start to our day. During our stay, we appreciated the convenient location near all the shopping malls and attractions. Overall, our experience at the Grand Hyatt Erawan was wonderful except for an evening where the shower area and all the taps only has hot water regardless turning on the cold or hot water tap. The technician team was quick in resolving the issue about 15-20 mins later. It made our 21st wedding anniversary extra special, and we will still come back for more anniversary celebrations. Highly recommended for couples or anyone seeking a luxurious getaway.

Extremely disappointing – this hotel should not carry the Grand Hyatt name I have stayed at many Hyatt properties around the world, including several Grand Hyatt hotels — but this one was a complete shock. Apart from the brand name, this hotel has absolutely nothing to do with Hyatt’s usual standards. In fact, I believe many of the positive reviews are manipulated, because what we experienced was nowhere near acceptable. The hotel is extremely old, the rooms are in terrible condition, and the maintenance is just unforgivable. In our room: • The windows were dirty and barely sealed. • The furniture was visibly stained and worn out. • One of the mirrors was broken and covered with tape. • No hot water — the water was barely lukewarm, which made showers unpleasant. • Everything felt dusty and neglected. We were shocked and asked the manager to change our room. We were shown another room, but it was in equally poor condition. It’s clear this is not an isolated issue — all rooms appear to be in the same degraded state. I had originally paid for five nights. But by the second day I realized I could not continue staying in this hotel and requested a refund for the remaining three nights. What’s being advertised and what is delivered are completely different — this is misleading and unacceptable. I am also filing a complaint with 訂房網站.com, where I made the booking, and will escalate this to Hyatt corporate. This property seriously damages the reputation of the Hyatt brand. Avoid this hotel at all costs. It does not deserve the Grand Hyatt name.

Most will note its central location between the Siam and Chit Lom BTS stations, a short walk away from the main shopping streets. But the Hyatt itself is a grand old dame that is its own experience, with great service, amazing facilities, comfortable amenities and an overall great experience. Strongly recommend for business travellers and families alike!
